Today’s earlier post about the Kawayan Grill got me thinking about doing another quick one on St. Dames. The vegetarian/vegan restaurant right by the Columbia City light rail stop has been listed for a few weeks now on Craigslist:
St. Dames Restaurant and Bar
Offered for $125,000
Located right by the Columbia City light rail stop, St. Dames is a treasure. Its burgundy walls, horseshoe-shaped booths, and bountiful candlelight are romantic, dramatic, and inviting. The menu is a haven of vegetarian and vegan comfort food with a full bar and can easily be converted to any concept. Ideal set up for catering. 45 seats including 4 at bar and + seasonal sidewalk seating. Established in 2010, in a newer construction building with a quality build-out including HVAC. Well-appointed kitchen includes 12′ type 1 hood, flat top, deep fryer, grease trap and 8 burner range with easy access for loading/delivery/catering. On-site office. 1 parking stall included in the rent with easy access to street parking and public transit. Ideal for chef/owner, bring your concept!
Please contact Laura Miller to schedule a tour at 206.351.3573. Please do not disturb employees or business owner.
I sure hope this means they want to relocate to a bigger place – hopefully still close to CC – and not closing altogether!
Haven’t heard. I also hope they aren’t calling it quits. Anyone know anything?
