9/6-12: A Weekly Guide to Columbia City Arts, Entertainment, and Culture

The response was strong enough from the first round to try to keep this weekly post going (if you’d like to get involved with this post on a weekly basis, be sure to let me know).

Columbia City has a number of great venues and theaters. As a neighborhood, we all know the value of these businesses and also know how necessary it is to support them in order to keep them a vital part of our thriving community. Here’s what’s happening this week:

ArkRoyalTheaterArk Lodge Cinemas has three movies this week. Click here for showtimes.

Columbia City Theater has a mix of live music and karaoke:

  1. Eve Miller says:

Thanks so much! I hope the list grows ie: What’s the Rumba Room etc?
And I hope sometime it links to some info as the only name I recognize is Overton Berry. Help us learn a bit about the performer to bravely make a new choice.
    Mostly, just thanks

  2. Eric says:

    Thanks, Eve!

Rumba Notes Lounge (by Full Tilt, Flying Lion, Watercress, the Hummingbird, etc.) info can be found following the link below. Currently, they have no active calendar or I’d include them in the mix:

The Royal Room’s listings can’t be linked to independently due to the design of their website (unlike the Columbia City theater links). For more info on each act, head to the Royal Room’s main page where they do have plenty of info about each show:

Still hoping for someone from the Columbia City Theater or the Royal Room or Ark Lodge, etc. to take volunteer to pull a post like this together each week.
